Meiko starts joint R&D with Yamagata University.

Meiko Electronics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has begun joint research with Yamagata University. The aim of this joint research is to improve the Company's basic technological capabilities with the aim of researching and developing new module technologies.
The Company is engaged in the development and manufacturing of embedded devices at Meiko Electronic Development Co., Ltd. in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, with its strengths in the design and development of electronic devices.
The Kumaki Laboratory at the Yamagata University Innovation Center for Organic Electronics, also in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, has strengths in the development of printed electronics using printing technology, organic electronics developing functional materials, and flexible electronics that can bend freely.
By combining these technologies, they will develop organic sensors and advance their application in fields such as factory automation, robotics, healthcare, and wearable devices.
The Company aims to contribute to the development of human resources in the region and to achieve mutual development through its collaboration with Yamagata University.
